The Detroit Health Dept has changed it's name. The new entity is called the Institute for Population Health or "IPH" for short. Information for contacting IPH is as follows:

The City of Hamtramck is accepting donations and asking for volunteers who would like to make improvements to city parks, parking lots, and other public spaces throughout the City. The improvements can include landscaping, flags and flag poles, and donations of flowers among other things. Please contact the City Manager's office if you would like to participate.
The City of Hamtramck Department of Community & Economic Development is working hard to provide Hamtramck residents with the resources to open their own businesses, as well as attract new small businesses to the City’s commercial corridors and neighborhoods.
Details on both of these programs are listed below, and again, they are open to Hamtramck residents and business owners, as well as anyone who may be interested in moving or starting a new business in the City!
