The countdown begins.

It’s hard to imagine now, but the turkey-and-Christmas hangovers will subside after the New Year. And just as those winter blues begin to creep in, the City of Hamtramck will offer a culinary cure. Mark your calendars and save your calories!

2010 Countdown to Paczki Day takes place Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Town Center parking lot (corner of Holbrook and Jos. Campau). Festivities (live polka music, traditional Polish dancing, free children’s games, etc) take place inside of a heated tent, and all attendees will receive free paczki and refreshments.

2010 Paczki Day Celebrations will take place Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 at various Hamtramck Locations.
